In the Bali heartland, surrounded by rice filed and volcanoes is an amazing hideaway. Perelà Villa was designed by a Balinese architect. It is the ultimate accommodation for up to ten traditional guests in totally private and exclusive natural ecosystem. Though approached through a small, traditional village of canggu, Perelà Villa stands by itself in setting of undistributed rice fields and breathtaking views of the rain forest and volcano. It’s striking architectural features of modern life: palimanan stone, marble and teak wood, with the elegance modern amenities and air-conditioned comfort provided.

Villa Perelà offered a comfortable dinning area rests beside cooling swimming pool on the first floor. Terrazzo stairs lead to an ‘ultra avant-garde’ living area where offered you a wide view to relax, hear and watch european movies. Each bedroom is equipped with en suite bath and distinguished by its furnishing, simple and contemporary art objects and unique view. One of the bathrooms has large terrazzo bathtub and are set in their own garden, two of the bathrooms have standard bathtub and another two bathrooms equipped with shower only. Booking Villa Perela

The stylish 3 bedroom villa is an ideal family vacation home. Built on 400 m of land and completed in 2008, it is used regularly by the owners so is well looked after. Designed in a mixed Balinese and Javanese style, it offers outdoor Bali style living at its best.

Villa Pakis Merah Master Bedroom.

The master has a king sized bed, with a wooden frame and draped mosquito net. There is a cushioned recessed daybed in one corner and a desk in front of the window. The large wardrobe has enough space for clothes and shoes. A terrazzo floor retains coolness through the day. An exposed beam alang alang ceiling is in traditional Balinese style. The tall windows and cream and beige colour scheme keeps the room light and airy.

The huge en suite bathroom is beautifully tiled with high quality bathroom fixtures and wooden fittings. It has an enormous freestanding bath tub and a large separate shower, with views to the sky.

Villa Pakis Merah, The Living Area

The living area is a 100 year old recovered Javanese joglo with a pendopo roof. It has an exquisitely carved ceiling. You recline on antique javanese furniture. There is a TV and DVD player and a selection of DVDs.

The Kitchen The kitchen is well equipped and you can cook here. There is an oven for baking. There is a BBQ for grilling; our staff can obtain charcoal when needed.

Villa Pakis Merah Dining Area.

The dining pavilion has a teak dining table for 8, and is decorated with Balinese decorations.

Roof Terrace Above the second and third bedrooms is a tiled roof terrace with recliners for sun worship and a table and chairs for eating or sipping a cool sundowner as the sun sets over the sea and skies turn pink and gold.

Villa Pakis Merah Bedroom 2 and 3

The second and third bedrooms feature queen size beds, batik hangings and Balinese decorations. Both open onto a view of the pool. There is strong air conditioning and mosquito nets.

The ensuite bathrooms are elegantly tiled with a mixture of natural stone and terrazzo.

Villa Pakis Merah The Garden & Pool

The garden at Pakis Merah has a number of indiginous plants including frangipani trees and bougainvillea. Carvings sit among the foliage. The front gate is a traditional Balinese design. When you enter the gate you must immediately turn to enter the garden; such turns are vital to keep evil spirits out!

The pool is 3 meters x 15 meters and 175 cm deep, ideal for a good morning swim. There is a garden shower. At night pool and garden lights make for pure Balinese romance.

There is a long board for surfers and boogie boards which can be taken to the beach.

At the back in the storeroom is a washing machine, but there are laundries in the village too. The house has a safe for valuables

Booking Villa Pakis Merah

The Villa Set around a five-by-17-meter infinity pool, each of Coraffan’s bedrooms has a spectacular view. The villa has an open-air living room with a sound system and equipped bar. Other common areas include a fitness room, a detached viewing platform ideal for morning meditation or yoga as well as late afternoon cocktails, and a detached dining area surrounded by balconies. Coraffan’s air-conditioned TV room has a full bathroom so that it can be used as a fifth bedroom if needed. Coraffan also has a fully appointed kitchen with staff quarters and a parking area with a security post.

Canggu is located in the northernmost part of the Kuta district. Coraffan’s neighbourhood is accessible along Jalan Pantai Bolong, also known as Jalan Hotel Tugu for the distinguished hotel at the end of the road. Villa Coraffan is set back by 200 meters from this road, accessible through a private lane. The Villa is only 20 minutes away from Seminyak, though a new road from Canggu Tua to Batu Beliq will cut the time to Seminyak’s Petitengget area, (where the Oberoi Hotel is), in half.

Canggu’s landscape is dominated by gently rolling hills in varying shades of green, depending on the stage of the rice harvest, and closer to the ocean, pastures dotted with grazing cattle. Under moonlight, Canggu’s landscape is breathtaking as the midnight blue and the softly lit green of the terraced rice fields create a dreamlike vista.

Most of Canggu’s residents earn their living either from farming or fishing, and the government has designated large parcels of the area as “green zones” to avoid the traffic snarls and other conflicts between residential and commercial development experienced in high-density tourist areas of the island. The two main beaches in the area are Pantai Batu Bolong and Pantai Batu Mejan, commonly known as Echo Beach. “The Echo” is very popular among more experienced surfers, while Batu Bolong is more swimmer-friendly, (as long as you don’t go in very far). Both beaches are approximately one kilometer away from Coraffan. Guests often enjoy watching Echo Beach’s spectacular sunsets over a cold beer or a glass of wine at The Beach House restaurant.

With the newly opened Canggu International Club, the first of its kind in Bali, and a few international schools in the neighbourhood, Canggu is becoming the preferred location for those seeking sophistication, privacy and peace.

The living room. Coraffan’s open-air living room lets guests stretch out in fan-cooled shade without losing any connection to the pool, the garden or Canggu’s magnificent scenery beyond. By sundown, the room comes into its own with warmly textured lighting and a bar that will bring all the guests together to kick off the evening’s activities.

The dining room The dining room, which can be as open to the elements as you wish, gives guests a dignified setting to complement our chef’s culinary delights. There are balconies off three sides of the dining room, where guests like to congregate before and/or after each meal to sip cocktails and chat under the stars.

Villa Coraffan Bedroom 1

This master bedroom suite features a wraparound balcony as well as a crow’s nest terrace offering a glimpse of the Indian Ocean — the perfect place to sip your morning coffee. The suite also includes a partially open garden-style bathroom and a TV nook. The room can be cooled with either air-conditioning or a ceiling fan.

Villa Coraffan Bedroom 2

The second bedroom features a spacious, partially open bathroom and a balcony overlooking Coraffan’s zen-inspired fish pond. The room is cooled with air-conditioning.

Villa Coraffan Bedroom 3

The third bedroom has a balcony overlooking a private corner of Coraffan’s gardens, a crow’s nest terrace and a spacious, open-air bathroom. The room can be cooled with air-conditioning or ceiling fan.

Villa Coraffan Bedroom 4

The fourth bedroom has a balcony with a 180-degree view of Canggu’s rice fields and a crow’s nest terrace overlooking the entire property as well as the surrounding terraced land. This bedroom features a spacious, garden-style bathroom. The room can be cooled with air-conditioning or ceiling fan.

The TV/Internet Room/bedroom 5 Coraffan’s TV room offers guests a cool and secluded break from the sunshine, appropriate for surfing the Internet, watching DVDs on our 42-inch plasma screen television or just stretching out with a novel. This room has a full bathroom, giving guests the option of turning it into a fifth bedroom, which our staff can do by setting up our double sofa bed.

Villa Coraffan The Fitness Room

Coraffan’s fitness room is equipped with a Universal weight set and a static bike/cross trainer. This room is also fitted out with air-conditioning and a bathroom with a shower.

Booking Villa Coraffan

Villa Anthony Widiadari consists of 2 separate buildings. The main building has a spacious living area with an exit to the garden and the swimming pool. From the garden the visitor has a breath-taking view of the surrounding rice paddies.

Next to the living area is the cooking area. The cooking experience is augmented by top of the line and modern equipment (cooker, microwave, blender, toaster, etc). From the kitchen the guests have access to the cosy dining area.

The air-conditioned bedroom is equipped with a king-sized bed. Shades guarantee an undisturbed rest even during daytime. The dressing room offers enough room to house your garderobe.

The marble bathroom is fitted with an egg-shaped bath, a separate shower and a toilet. A hairdryer, make-up mirror, cotton towels, etc are present.

The second building, the guest building, has direct access to the garden and the swimming pool. This building contains an air-conditioned study from where Internet access is possible. The bedroom (also with airco) and the bathroom offer the same level of comfort and luxury as the rooms in the main building.

The marble decorated bathroom contains an interesting exotic feature. The hot and cold water taps are implemented as 2 exotic statues. Above the bath the special rain-shower offers relaxation

and cooling down. The terrace, next to the pool, offers ample deck chairs for sunbathing.

If you want to enjoy the view from the shade then you can use the magnificent gazebo. An extra treat is the view of the setting sun above the rice paddies from within this gazebo
