Shake Your Tush! Asian Belly Dance Festival 2010
When it comes to art, culture and dance, Bali seems to be a constant hub of activity and creative energy and as far as festivals and workshops go, where better than this rocking little island to set up camp. With that in mind, the Belly Dance Festival Asia will be held on our shores on February 25th – 28th, 2010, bringing the world of Middle Eastern Dance to our shores along with top artists in the field. Master instructors “Jilina” will teach by day and amazing theatrical performances will take place by night.
As a cultural exchange, some of our best local dancers will also be featured which is Suzanna Hutabarat – Tibble from Hareem Queen Belly Dance Jakarta, showing their innovative approach to an ancient art form. Right now, 15 countries already support and registered on this event, the country is : Indonesia, Singapore, Philippine, Malaysia, Taiwan, Vietnam, South Africa, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Japan. Asian Belly Dance Festival event highlight is Workshops, Woman’s Talk shows; Woman’s Food & Bazaar, Special Gala Dinner, and Asian Belly Dance Competition will all be part of the four day event held at Ayodya Hotels & Resort, along with other participating hotels and venues. check out www.bellydancefestivalbali.com
